Yay for FALL!!!
Amen! Thank you Jesus for the awesome weather! Even if it only lasts for today it is so amazing!! The girls and I had to get out and walk... Seems like the ducks enjoy it too!!!

One month check up
So we are growing them big in our house!
Emmalee's doctor appointment went so well! She is 10 pounds and 22 inches... If my calculations are correct that puts her up nearly 3 pounds from birth and an inch and a quarter longer!!! She loves to eat!
She smiles so much and ADORES her big sister! She is starting to coo which totally melts my heart! Em is a snuggle bunny and spends most of her day in my arms asleep on my chest. Neither one of us was ready to let go of the womb experience. It's wonderful! I am going to soak up every minute I can... Before work... Before time starts to speed by!

New Baby... New Blog
Time for a new chapter.
We still have access to the first.
This is just a way for momma, here, to start fresh, while trying to ignore the HUGE gap in time.
These blogs act as my baby book... documenting the precious, short baby years.
So without further ado, let's introduce baby Emmalee.

PURE JOY!
This was a new experience for me... Labor came on its own and early!
Whew...
Glad that back pain is over... even though I would do it all over again!
Lots of LOVE for these little girls!

When we got home, life was in full swing.
As a momma that likes to do EVERYTHING, see EVERYTHING, and be EVERYTHING these next few days/ weeks were a little hard.
Gracelee is so involved in activities and school, and I didn't want to miss a second.
But I had to. {tear}
Luckily, my super supportive husband, mom, and mother in law stepped up, as they continue to do, and made it to ALL of Gracelee's events and took pictures and videos so I could feel involved!
{plus, i do make the occasional dance class with emmalee completely covered.. tsk!}
Now for a week by week... to think she is exactly one month today... time flies!

We are so in love! Our little family feels complete with baby Emmalee. I love the interaction between the sisters. I love to watch her grow and learn. God has blessed our family in unimaginable ways. I feel so undeserving and sometimes a little inadequate to take on such extreme responsibility. To see these two precious girls through life and teach them about the good the bad and the ugly; it is a challenge to display the right way to live, as I am so less than perfect!
I find myself continually asking for guidance and strength for these girls. To lead them to be strong and determined and at the same time respectful and lady like. It is a challenge like no other.
It is my mission in life.
They are the reason I am here.
They are my WHOLE life and what I am devoted to 1000%!
Gracelee and Emmalee,
How can I ever express to you how much I love you in words? There are not enough! You are both beautiful and sweet little souls! I want you to always remember that I think you are "kind, good and important!"
Everything I am and Everything I stand for is all for you!
I love you both all the way to the moon and back, and around the world infinity times. I love you more than the stars in the sky and the birds love to sing. YOU ARE MY EVERYTHING!
